Middle East College (MEC) celebrated the Annual Graduation Ceremony of its 2017 batch at the Student Hub, Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM), Muscat on Saturday, 9th December and Sunday, 10th December 2017. A total of 1313 graduands were awarded Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor and Masters certificates in 22 different undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by MEC in the fields of Engineering, Science & Technology, Business and Archives and Records Management.

Middle East College (MEC) is celebrating the Annual Graduation Ceremony of its 2017 batch on Saturday, 9th December and Sunday, 10th December 2017 at its Student Hub, MEC, Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM), Muscat. About 1313 graduates from different undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (offered by MEC in affiliation with Coventry University, UK and University of Wolverhampton, UK) will be awarded Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s and Master’s degree certificates.
The Student Advisory Council (SAC) at Middle East College (MEC) formation process was completed successfully on Tuesday, 31st October 2017 at the Board Room, Al Khalil Building in the presence of Dr. Saleh Al Shaaibi, Associate Dean – External Relations and Community Outreach, Student Activities Office staff members and the 17 elected candidates.
Dr. Smitha Nair, Head- Centre for Postgraduate Studies at MEC, conducted a workshop on “Bioinformatics in Biotechnology” at Waljat College of Applied Sciences (WCAS) on Wednesday, the 25th October 2017. The event goes in line with MEC's vision and mission where community outreach activities play an important role.
