Librarian – Learning & Resources Center

Applicants should have a Bachelor Degree in Library sciences with a minimum of 6 years’ experience or a Master Degree with 3 years’ experience at the college/ university level. Should have Relevant Computer Skills including knowledge of any Library Management System & good Communication Skills (Arabic & English).Responsibilities include Planning, implementing and evaluating module learning resources required for each programme offered and ensure that they are organized/ displayed accordingly. Managing promoting and evaluating the quality of journals, text books and other references in departments, designing  and implementing library policies and procedures, review and update when required, selecting order and receiving new books, periodicals and other materials housed in the library by working closely with the departments and academic/ non-academic staff and other duties as assigned within the scope of the job role.

 Library Assistant – Learning & Resources Center

Applicants should have a Diploma in Library sciences with a minimum of 3 years’ experience or a  fresh Bachelor’s in Library Sciences. Should have Relevant Computer Skills including knowledge of any Library Management System, good Communication skills & Organization & planning skills. Responsibilities include assisting students and staff in easy identification of print and non-print resources, entering and updating user details in the database, maintaining records of over dues, lost books, and fines, monitoring students’ use of the library, sorting and arranging print and non-print materials, assisting in ordering and processing of new materials and equipment and other duties as assigned within the scope of the job role.

  Registration Officer - Registration Office

Applicants should have a Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience  in  the area of administration, preferably in academic institution. Should have good working knowledge in MS Office, good Interpersonal and Communication Skills (Arabic & English) and ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising registration  procedures, admission and registration of students, advising students on their academic & administration  matters, attending to students’ queries and resolving them, maintain records of student’s scholarships, prepare reports and letters for external and internal use and other duties as assigned within the scope of the job role.
