Public Relations Officer – Human Resources Department

Omani Male candidates having a  minimum of high school or higher secondary completion certificate or Diploma Degree may apply for this position. Should have Relevant Computer Skills including good communication & Interpersonal Skills, Administration & Organizing skills. Responsibilities include coordinating visa/PASI renewals, maintaining and updating personnel databases, records and files, obtaining the monthly PASI list, coordinating PASI/Employment clearance/Employment visa/Resident card procedures, facilitating issuance of all types of visas as per employee’s request/college requirements in a time bound manner, coordinating staff exit formalities and other duties as assigned within the scope of the job role.


Alumni and Outreach Officer 

For MEC graduates only. Omani candidates having a Diploma Degree may apply for this position. Should have relevant Computer skills including effective communication skills, Interpersonal skills, managerial skills  & organizing skills. Should also have the ability to be a team player. Responsibilities include coordinating between MEC and its Alumni, organizing & monitoring alumni and outreach projects and events, compiling data & maintaining records of alumni and community interactions, assisting other departments in organizing their community outreach events, establishing contacts with external community outreach agencies and other duties as assigned within the scope of the job role. Should have  record of participation in voluntary work, knowledge of Oman’s community outreach organizations, experience in community outreach is an advantage, willingness to travel in different locations in Oman. Preference shall be given to male candidates.


Moodle Administrator – IT Support Office

Applicants should have a Bachelor Degree with specialization in open source operating system(Linux), database, network and web technologies and a minimum experience of 2 years in a similar field/industry. Should have designing and programming skills, proven analytical skills with Learning management system(Moodle), knowledge of information security and systems administration, interpersonal, verbal and written and communication skills . Responsibilities include performing periodic backup of data and tuning the system for performance, providing daily support to Moodle Learning Management System end-users, encouraging the users to come up with new ideas to improve the LMS experience, producing detailed documentation and propose ideas to improve the existing LMS features, devising strategy for Business Intelligence for the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS), managing and integrating Moodle Learning Management System with different third party tools, creating and manage each semester modules in Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) and other duties as assigned within the scope of the job role.


 Library Assistant – Learning & Resources Center

Applicants should have a Diploma in Library sciences with a minimum of 3 years’ experience or a  fresh Bachelor’s in Library Sciences. Should have Relevant Computer Skills including knowledge of any Library Management System, good Communication skills & Organization & planning skills. Responsibilities include assisting students and staff in easy identification of print and non-print resources, entering and updating user details in the database, maintaining records of over dues, lost books, and fines, monitoring students’ use of the library, sorting and arranging print and non-print materials, assisting in ordering and processing of new materials and equipment and other duties as assigned within the scope of the job role.
