Qualification Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business & Information Systems (Supply Chain & Logistics Management)
Entry Requirements Candidates seeking admission to the above mentioned programme for a Bachelors or Diploma Programme should possess the following:
• General Education Diploma (Equivalent to 12 years of schooling or equivalent qualification)
• General Foundation Programme (GFP) Certificate issued by MEC.

Further, candidates should pass the Placement Test conducted by MEC which includes English, Mathematics and Computing components. To be exempted from English Language in the Foundation Programme, candidates require a 5.5 score on IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or its equivalent and to be exempted from the Computing component of the GFP, they should have successfully completed the ICDL or IC3. In addition, candidates will have to pass the Math component of the college Placement Test.
Department Management Studies


The overall aim of the programme is to equip students with up to date knowledge and a high level of intellectual awareness and technical competence in the subject area of Business and Information Systems, through a process of education to pursue a deep understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics Management.
It is expected that graduates of the programme will be able to take their places in Management and Information systems related positions in Business, Commerce and the Public sector and demonstrate a high level of competence. Additionally, graduates will be able to effectively understand and implement Supply Chain related issues, logistics, procurement, inventory, transport management, lean manufacturing etc.
Logistics is a growing field in the Sultanate and a promising sector for job seekers. This programme will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to fill positions in various areas of Logistics and Supply Chain Management including its Enterprise Resource Planning system. The graduates can take up positions in distribution, warehousing, stores management and retail sectors.
