Construction Industry is often labelled as an industry of adversarial nature. This industry encompasses   individuals from a varied educational and professional training background with diverse mind-set. Hence they have different perceptions for the similar problems and situations.  This leads to issues like delay in construction, cost escalation, substandard construction quality, variations etc. Hence it is very important to have a judicious control of the cost time and quality.

Considering the above factors, Middle East College in partnership with Coventry University has taken the initiative to offer the ‘Master of Science (MSc) Programme in Construction Project and Cost Management’. The programme address to the rapid cultural change in the construction industry towards less adversarial approaches to project management and continuing professional development. This course also addresses the core skills and competencies as set out by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) for construction project managers, construction cost managers and quantity surveyors.
