Budoor Al Rawahi our student from Electronics and communication Department won the best participant prize for her Socially Relevant project presentation among Six other colleges who participated under Higher Education Ministry as one of the government agencies in 4th Traffic Safety Exhibition held on Nov 11, 2013 at the Oman International Exhibition Center which was organized by Royal Oman Police.

Abdulrahman Al Adawi won the Second Prize (Honorary Prize) in Serbia International Photography Competition held in 04.09.2013

Abdulrahman Al Adawi  won two medals (Honors prize) at the International Photography Competition (Greece)- Nov 15, 2013

Zahir Al Siyabi - SQU 1st place award, Award in Serbia and Montenegro.

Hajir Al Tuwaijri - 1 place Montenegro Photography Award

Abdulrahman Al Adawi - Ireland Award, Silver Medal at Montenegro, 4th place in Sultanate of Oman.

Hanan Al Ghamari - 3rd place in Montenegro Award, 2nd place in Serbia Award, 3rd place Award in SQU.

Hawraa Al Fahdi - Serbia FIAP medal, Serbia PSA HM, UAE, FIAP Medal, Spain FIAP HM.

The 2nd Inter-Collegiate Public Speaking Competition-MECORATOR-2014
organized by English Club. In this event, 17 students from 9 colleges participated. Hidaya Ali Al Amri won  the Second winner in the competition on 17 April, 2014.

Sami Saif Abdullah Ali Al Rashdi  and Ahmed Awadh Khalaf Al Busaidi , students from Electronics and Communication Department won the best prize in competition organized by Nokia Oman for their uploaded photographs on 20th March 2014.

MEC Girls Basket Ball Team secured Second Runners Up position by defeating Al Khaleej College under the captaincy of Ms Hajer Al Muzayni and coaching of Ms Hiba Al Nabii in 2014 Inter University and Colleges Girls Basketball Tournament held at SQU during April 29-May 5th, played between 11 Colleges and Universities. Ms Hajer Al Muzayni was adjudged “ Best Player of the Tournament” for second year in a row.

Eyadh Al Mandhari, RMA student won two Bronze & two Silver medals for Oman at Asian Powerlifting Championship 2014, held at Quezon City, Philippines, from April 26 to May 1, 2014. 

Khalid Al Kulaibi  and Musallam Al Khadhouri our students represented Oman in Gulf Swimming Championship for 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters and they got 1st place.
