This programme develops and enhances your knowledge and technical competence in the subject areas of Information Technology and Business with particular emphasis on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in Human Resources Management.
Students seeking admission to any of the Bachelors or Diploma programmes mentioned below should possess a General Education Diploma from Sultanate of Oman or its equivalent qualification approved by Ministry of Education, the Sultanate of Oman and a General Foundation Programme completion certificate.
Students who do not possess a GFP certificate or an equivalent certificate may take MEC placement test. The placement test determines proficiency levels in English, Applied Math and Computing component.
English Language in the GFP can be exempted on producing IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with a score of 5.5 and above, a TOEFL equivalent or an equivalent international certification
Computing component of the GFP can be exempted if the candidate has successfully completed the ICDL or IC3 or any equivalent international diploma in IT skills.
A score of 60% and above in MEC placement test in each of the component would enable the student for exemption from General Foundation programme.
