Dr.  Victoria Tuzlukova

Centre for Preparatory Studies, Sultan Qaboos University

Victoria Tuzlukova has a PhD in Comparative Linguistics from Moscow State University. She is currently on the English faculty of the Centre for Preparatory Studies at Sultan Qaboos University. Victoria is a co-editor of General Foundation Programmes in Higher Education in the Sultanate of Oman: Experiences, Challenges and Considerations for the Future (2013), Language, Learning and Teaching (20111), The Omani ELT Symphony: Maintaining Linguistic and Socio-Cultural Equilibrium (2010), Language of Professional Communication in Focus of Linguistics and Cultural Studies (2009), and ESP and Technology in Oman. Special Issue of Journal of Teaching English for Specific and Academic Purposes (2016). Victoria has participated in a number of large scale projects in Oman. Her forthcoming publications are on skills training and community-based projects in English language teaching and learning.



Dr. Abbas Ali Rezaee

Abbas Ali Rezaee is an Associate Professor at the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, University of Tehran, I.R. Iran. He completed his B.A. in English Language and Literature and his M.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in Iran and obtained his PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Exeter, England.

His main research interests are 'Language Teaching', 'Research Methodology in Applied Linguistics', 'Language Testing', 'CALL', and 'ESP.' He has taught various courses at B.A., M.A. and PhD levels. He has published a large number of articles on various topics in language teaching and testing. He has also supervised many MA theses and PhD dissertations in TEFL and Applied Linguistics. Moreover, he has presented papers and workshops in many national and international conferences. He has published a book and has two more in print. He has also organized some national and international conferences on language teaching/learning and language testing. And he has translated more than 20 articles on philosophy and other subjects in English.
